Accessibility Statement
1. Our commitment
Minuswires wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification, voice control, or other assistive technology. Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We treat this as ongoing work rather than a finished claim: the site changes regularly, and we check it again as it does.
2. What we have done
- Semantic structure: pages use real headings in order, landmark regions, lists and buttons, and a "Skip to main content" link at the top of every page.
- Labelled forms: form fields and buttons have names that screen readers announce.
- Keyboard navigation: menus, dialogs, and forms can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Colour contrast: text and controls are checked against WCAG contrast ratios.
- Text alternatives: meaningful images have alternative text.
- Automated testing: we run Google Lighthouse accessibility audits and automated axe-core checks on key pages, and fix what they find.
3. Known limitations
Some parts of the site rely on third-party technology we do not fully control, and may not be fully accessible:
- The 3D animated hero on the homepage is an interactive 3D scene. It is decorative, and everything it shows is also available as ordinary text on the page, but the scene itself is not meaningful to screen readers.
- Third-party services such as maps, payment pages, spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA), calendar booking, and video meetings are provided by other companies. We choose providers with accessibility in mind, but their interfaces are outside our direct control.
- Downloadable documents such as resource PDFs are generated from our web pages and may not be fully tagged for screen readers. The same content is available on the web page it came from.
- Older content, such as some earlier blog posts, may not yet meet every guideline. We fix these as we find them.
Automated tools catch only some accessibility problems, so we rely on people telling us when something does not work for them.
4. Report a problem or ask for another format
If you have trouble using any part of this website, or you need information in a different format, please tell us. Let us know the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using if you can. We will reply within one business day and work with you to get you the information you need.
